Project Honda MB8

The story so far

This bike was a £100 purchase from ebay which was originally purchased for spares, but after full stripdown it was decided to restore it.

The idea at the moment is to build a Honda MB8 (European 80cc version of the MB5) using a H100 engine (they are very similar in size to the 80cc unit). After a few pints down the local, it was decided that it should be red, so the above parts are ready to be dispatched to the local powder coaters (frame & swinging arm red, all other parts black)

To fit the H100 engine a new mounting hole has to be drilled near the top of the original bracket (reinforced by welding a washer on each side) then the original 50cc engine mount has been sawn off and shaped to match the MB8 mount.
