16th Carole Nash Motorcycle Mechanics Show
Stafford County Show ground

This was the MB Enthusiasts first time at this very popular show and we were very pleased that our application was accepted. As this was our first show there was limited stand space made available so it was decided to keep the number of bikes on display to four in total. The weather forecast was for a dry weekend so the visitor numbers would be high. Friday was spent travelling to the event and setting up the stand

The additional of a few spot lights plus newly purchased bike stands gave an overall professional look with many favourable comments from the public.

Due to the size and number of concours entries at this event we were not really expecting to feature in the prize giving. Therefore we were quite ecstatic when it was announced that Steve’s recently restored 1982 Honda MT5 was awarded “Best 1980’s” bike and Tony's MB5 received a “Highly Commended” Praise indeed for a first attempt and a very enjoyable weekend.

Many thanks to all of you that came along to say “hi” and look at the bikes on display, and we also managed to get a few more people to join us who are also restoring these bikes.
